The co-founder of Powerfar, Jack Qiu, turned what he saw in America from inspiration and insights into inception of a new, innovative brand in Shenzhen. Here’s a brief story of what happend from that fall of 2018.
Inspiration
In 2018, while Jack Qiu, the executive director of Benrong was in the States, he accidentally heard of Powerwall of Tesla, a newly developed product for home energy power supply, which gave him great inspiration.
Insight
He became aware of the potential trend of high capacity home energy power supply, although the industry counterparts was mostly still engaged in the development of indoor and outdoor portable power stations.
Inception
After returning to China, Jack placed the R&D of family off-grid power supply on immediate agenda, and within one year, created the first model of it and labeled it with a new brand name of POWERFAR (that’s when and why our brand was born).
Innovation
This product quickly attracted the attention from across the industry, which marked a strategic milestone for the development of the company. This also showed that the company had a full pioneering spirit in the industry under the leadership of the founder.
